New photos of Saudi Arabia’s Neom bring the megaproject to life

Getty Images and Unsplash have captured the beauty of Neom.

If you can’t wait to visit Saudi Arabia’s Neom, these newly released photos will bring you one snap closer to the megaproject. Neom has partnered with Getty Images and Unsplash to create a library of images, which showcase the beauty of the site.

Getty Images and Unsplash selected 14 photographers to explore Neom. The library includes more than 200 images of the natural landscape, which cover beaches, coasts, desert and mountains. Plus, there are spectacular shots of the islands and coral.

We’re impressed by the dramatic shots, which give us serious FOMO. The library currently includes seven collections of images: Coastline, Heriage Sites, Hisma Desert, Islands of Neom, Nature Reserve, Sheea’b Musa, and Sharma. In total, there are more than 202 images, and they can be used for travellers, partners and creative collaborators.

Neom is scheduled to open to tourists in 2024. Upon completion, it will be the size of Belgium and sits north of the Red Sea coastline. The exciting developments also range from Oxagan to Sindalah’s beaches and seas. Sindalah island will be a luxurious retreat and include 413 hotels, 51 shops and 38 restaurants. Oxagon aims to be the world’s largest floating industrial complex.

Neom’s The Line aims to be a 170km-long residential complex with zero cars, zero streets, zero carbon emissions and the world’s longest skyscraper, Mirror Line. When completed, the area will be home to million residents across 34 square kilometres. Plus, it will be so compact that you’ll be within a five-minute walk from facilities and a 20-minute high-speed rail will take you through the city.

Adventure awaits.
