The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia has welcomed big brands from around the world. Now, it is set to welcome the five-star hotel, InterContinental The Red Sea Resort. The development is one of 11 hotels on Shura Island. Scheduled to open in 2025, the property will feature 178 rooms and 32 suites. 

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort will be located 23 kilometres from Red Sea International Airport. The hotel will be surrounded by natural lagoons and mangroves, which are inspired by local reefs. Kristina Zanic Consultants is behind the design, which combines form and function. Killa Designs is behind the architecture, and Rockwell Group is behind the interiors.

The rooms will boast breathtaking panoramic views of beautiful sand, sea and sun. Guests will be able to admire the Insta-worthy sunsets. Each room features a walk-in shower, a bathtub with a view, and a 55-inch smart LED TV. Amenities also include Byredo Bal Dáfrique toiletries. Plus, the sustainable design elements include natural low-carbon, solar hot water panels, and natural ventilation.

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort will include five restaurants and bars, which offer a diverse range of cuisines. The facilities include a spa, a recreation centre, a sports centre, and indoor as well as outdoor event spaces. The gym will boast state-of-the-art fitness equipment and lifestyle studios. Guests can join mind and body sessions in the open air while overlooking the ocean views.
