Four Seasons Hotel Madinah has been confirmed for Saudi Arabia

The hotel will include 245 rooms, two restaurants and a wellness centre.

Saudi Arabia is welcoming luxury hotels across the country, from Jeddah to Riyadh. Now, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has confirmed that it is opening a new hotel in Madinah. The opening date for Four Seasons Hotel Madinah has not yet been announced, but the project is currently under construction.

Located near the Prophet’s Mosque, this marks Four Seasons and Resorts entry into the Holy City and religious tourism. So far, we know that Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will include 245 rooms, two restaurants, a tea room, a wellness centre, a gym, and a barbershop. Plus, there will be a range of handpicked retail shops.

Saudi Arabia recently revealed that 4.25 million worshippers and visitors visited the Prophet’s Mosque during this year’s holy week. The Kingdom also revealed that there were a record number of foreign pilgrims in the two Holy Cities. Plus, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah announced the official start of the Umrah season.

Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, explained: “We are working to enrich the experience of the pilgrims and visitors as well as to enable them to enjoy the ancient history of the holy cities. Makkah and Madinah are changing for the better and we have more than 100 historical sites in the two cities”.

The Four Seasons brand can already be found in Riyadh, and it has hotels planned for The Red Sea and Diriyah Gate. Saudi Arabia has more than 86 hotels opening in the Kingdom, which are being constructed in cities and new megaprojects and range from international brands to sprawling resorts.
