IHG and Regent Hotels set to open luxury hotels in Riyadh

Located in KAFD, the developments include three hotels.  

Saudi Arabia has been welcoming the biggest hotels from around the world. Now, IHG and Regent Hotels have announced that they will be opening new hotels in King Abdullah Financial District. The properties include InterContinental Riyadh KAFD, Regent Riyadh KAFD and Kimpton at KAFD. 

InterContinental Riyadh KAFD is scheduled to open by the end of 2024. The hotel includes 400 rooms, a flagship restaurant, two themed restaurants and a lobby lounge. The facilities include a spa, pool and indoor recreation zone. 

Regent Riyadh KAFD is scheduled to open in 2027. This marks IHG’s first Regent brand in Riyadh. The hotel includes 250 rooms, a flagship restaurant, two themed restaurants, a tea lounge and cafes. Plus, the facilities include a fitness centre, spa and ballroom. 

Kimpton at KAFD is scheduled to open by the end of 2024. IHG boasts 43 hotels across six brands in Saudi Arabia. The brands include Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, InterContinental, Six Senses, Staybridge Suites and voco.
