The design-led padel, movement and café concept has confirmed a new outpost in the Saudi capital.
Saudi’s latest obsession has got to be matcha and padel. These two wildly popular lifestyle elements have taken the Kingdom by storm. Whether you’re sipping on a green pick-me-up or swinging a padel racket, chances are you’ve seen them all over your socials. And now, you’re getting a chance to enjoy both of them at the Matcha Club Riyadh.
The boutique padel and movement destination that’s built a loyal following in the United Arab Emirates has announced its launch in the Saudi capital. For anyone who has visited the original in Dubai, the appeal is obvious. Matcha Club isn’t just somewhere to book a court and head home. It’s designed as a social space where sport, wellness and a well-timed coffee all sit comfortably under one roof. The brand positions itself as “a vibrant community club where wellness, creativity, and social connections come together”, and that community-first energy is a big part of what keeps people returning.
The Riyadh account is still keeping specifics quiet, but the premise is clear. The Instagram bio describes it as: “A Boutique Padel Club & Movement. Padel • Reformer • Café.” Expect a similar rhythm to Dubai, where you can squeeze in a match, book a class, then settle in for a post-workout refuel. In Al Quoz, the experience is built around padel courts, a movement programme that includes Reformer Pilates and yoga, plus a dining component led by NETTE.
As for where it will land, a precise address has not yet been confirmed. However, early chatter places it in the north of the city, around the Roshn Front area. For now, consider the opening details a watch-this-space situation, with more to be revealed in due course.
Either way, the timing makes sense. Padel continues to surge across the capital, and Riyadh’s wellness scene is evolving quickly, with design and community now as important as the workout itself. If Matcha Club delivers the same atmosphere that made it a Dubai favourite, this will be one of the city’s most in-demand new hangouts.
