Singer Seal is coming to Saudi Arabia

The Kiss From A Rose singer is performing in AlUla on Thursday, 9 March.

Do the opening harmonies to the ballad Kiss From a Rose give you the feels? Well, you’ll be excited to hear that Seal, who is behind the hit song, is coming to Saudi Arabia. Fans of the British soul singer can catch him at AlUla’s Maraya Concert Hall on Thursday, 9 March.

Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, best known simply as Seal, is a British singer, songwriter, and record producer who gained international fame in the early 1990s with his hit single Crazy. Born in London in 1963, Seal began his musical journey as a vocalist for various funk and soul bands before pursuing a solo career.

Seal’s soulful baritone voice and emotive lyrics have made him a beloved figure in the music industry. He has released several successful albums throughout his career, including his self-titled debut album in 1991, which earned him three Grammy Awards, and his 1994 album Seal II, which included the hit single Kiss from a Rose.

In addition to his music, Seal is known for his activism and humanitarian work, including his involvement with the Make Poverty History campaign and his work with the United Nations Development Programme. He has also been a coach on the Australian version of the singing competition show The Voice.

Today, Seal has sold more than 20 million records worldwide and has won accolades including Brit Awards, Ivor Novello Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

We’re hoping that Seal sings his hit singles including CrazyKiller (with its catchy ‘solitary brother’ refrain) and, of course, Kiss From a Rose (with its sweeping romantic imagery).

AlUla is famous for welcoming big-name acts. In the last year, Maraya concert hall has hosted Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, OneRepublic, Usher and Westlife.

If you want to see Seal in Saudi, tickets are available now. Tickets start from SAR 500. Visitors must be 12 years old.
