3 summer dining deals await at Sofitel Dubai The Palm

Partner Content: The Taste of Summer offers will run until 15 September.

With its ambience exuding that of a Polynesian island, escapism is the name of the game at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The property is situated on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, nestled amongst lush greenery and offering striking views of the Arabian Gulf. And while we’d love to escape the city scurry for a staycation at this resort, it’s not always an option – making a meal here the next best option. Incidentally, Sofitel’s Taste of Summer offers will run until 15 September, making it the perfect time to dine at one of its signature restaurants. Each has created a special three-course dinner comprising its most popular dishes for a rather tempting price. Here they are at a glance.

Hong Loong

Hong Loong restaurant invites diners to experience Asian fusion food with influences from Southeast Asia, its classics including the likes of Chinese Wagyu Beef Black Pepper, Indonesian Nasi Goreng, Pad Thai Noodles, Singaporean Chili Lobster, and Malaysian Ayam Bakar. And the children’s menu happens to be just as exciting, with highlights such as Hong Kong Dynamite Shrimps, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and Thai Som Tum. Here, you can enjoy an intimate dinner or entertain family and friends in the restaurant’s private banquet room. The décor of ebony, vermillion and gold, meanwhile, adds a sense of sophistication throughout. The three-course dinner at Hong Loong is priced at AED 290 per couple (discounted from AED 550).

Moana Seafood Restaurant

One of Dubai’s most popular seafood restaurants, Moana Seafood Restaurant offers an exquisite fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine prepared by master chefs from Latin America and Asia. It’s uniquely situated on its own little island, while its turquoise interiors are filled with natural light shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the pergola-style terrace offers refreshing sights and sounds of the resort’s beautiful greenery. As for what’s on the menu? An array of sashimi, nigiri and maki rolls freshly prepared live from the sushi bar alongside Peruvian specialities like Street Truck Ceviche, Hokkaido Scallops Tiradito, Salmon Criollo, Grilled Chicken Anticucho, and more. Catering to the whole family, Moana offers children a dedicated seafood menu with Peruvian fusion, too. The three-course dinner is priced at AED 390 per couple (discounted from AED 650).

Porterhouse Steaks & Grills

One of the most popular steakhouses on Palm Jumeirah, Porterhouse imports prime cuts of meat from celebrated producers around the world, inviting diners to watch its chefs at work in the open kitchen from the dining room. An extra special experience is the signature tabletop grill, where choice cuts such as USDA Porterhouse steaks and slow-cooked lamb shank are carved tableside, each meal accompanied by expertly prepared sauces and side dishes. Elsewhere, a decadent dessert or a Grand Cru from the grape cellar also adds to the culinary experience, which Porterhouse promises will be unforgettable. For the little ones, a dedicated menu awaits, designed especially for smaller appetites and picky palates. The three-course dinner is priced AED 390 per couple (discounted from AED 780).
