Known for turning everyday experiences into hilarious and often moving narratives, he has built a devoted following that spans continents. His live shows are famous for powerful one-liners, sharp observations, and relatable stories.
For those discovering him for the first time, Zakir Khan is one of India’s most celebrated comedians. He first rose to prominence after winning Comedy Central India’s Best Stand-Up Comedian in 2012 and has since become a household name. His specials, including “Tathastu,” “Haq Se Single” and his latest, “Delulu Express,” showcase his signature style, where humour and vulnerability sit comfortably side by side.
His rise has also been defined by record-breaking milestones. In 2023, Zakir became the first Asian comedian to perform a solo show in Hindi at London’s Royal Albert Hall. He then added another landmark moment by becoming the first Indian comedian to headline a Hindi show at Madison Square Garden in New York.
