A FACT favourite is the Japanese speciality restaurant Izakaya, situated on the hotel’s fifth floor. 

The atmospheric restaurant space is ideally suited for a casual catch-up or a romantic date night, offering tables tucked within intimate alcoves.

For those searching for an impressive Valentine’s Day experience a seat at the teppanyaki table will reward you with an immersive dining journey that sees the charismatic chefs flip food and shoot flames as they conjure up a memorable meal. Tempting dishes on offer include French Oysters, Otoro Carpaccio, Yakitori, a Sashimi Platter, Lobster Tempura, Japanese Wagyu Striploin Tataki, Takana Fried Rice and Lemongrass Panacotta. At the teppanyaki table, diners can enjoy a free-flow of premium food and beverages, complete with bubbly and a bouquet of red roses. Tuesday 14 February, from 6pm to 9:30pm. AED 5,000 per couple (three-hour seating). Guests can also choose from the a la carte menu on this day. 

For those not visiting On Valentine’s Day, the teppanyaki table is available daily from 6pm to midnight. Here, diners can choose their favourite items from an extensive menu and enjoy a live cooking show.

Sushi and Bubbles on Tuesday evenings Izakaya invites guests to indulge in a menu of unlimited sushi accompanied by free-flowing beverages while taking in the authentic Japanese surroundings. The offer is available on Tuesdays from 6pm to 12 midnight. AED 195 (including unlimited sushi) and AED 300 (including unlimited sushi and two hours of free-flowing bubbly and select cocktails).

Izakaya feels like the Kabukicho district of Tokyo with its neon lighting and colourful umbrellas suspended from the ceiling. You may be rewarded with the opportunity to meet Izakaya’s famous Sake Man, who will visit your table with his trolley to provide beverage recommendations or the friendly Wasabi Girl who prepares wasabi at your table.
