It’s time to get automatic, systematic and hydromatic because Grease The Musical is coming to Dubai Opera. Get ready for some spectacular singing, dancing and a dose of summer loving. The dates have been confirmed from 24 October to 2 November 2025, and here’s what we do know.
Presented in collaboration with MAC Global and People Entertainment Group, this new West End touring production reimagines the beloved story of Sandy and Danny with contemporary energy while staying true to the show’s classic heart. Directed by Nigel West and choreographed by Matt Wesley, the staging blends fresh theatrical flair with the songs generations know by heart.
Expect the full hit parade performed by a world-class cast, including “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin’,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” and “You’re the One That I Want.” High-octane choreography, tight harmonies and big, feel-good moments promise a night that captures the carefree spirit of the 1950s, complete with slicked-back hair, poodle skirts and jukebox swagger.

Most people will know Grease, thanks to the 1978 movie of the same name. The film stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing and Jeff Conaway. Set in the 1950s, it first shows Danny and Sandy having a summer romance. They part ways and then find themselves in the same school, Rydell High School.
