Jones the Grocer continues to grow

While Dubai’s ever-evolving dining scene has left us spoilt for choice, few eateries can claim to feature speciality food retail, a walk-in cheese room, a charcuterie, a bakery, a patisserie and a deli set within a single concept – a feat accomplished by Jones the Grocer, which now operates 30 stores across the Middle East and the UAE. The award-winning café has just set up shop in Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach, a property that has not only undergone a renovation, but also caters to both business and leisure travellers.
And with the new branch located in the bustling neighbourhood of JBR, the gourmet Australian eatery is set to further elevate the hotel’s vibrant appeal while serving both JBR and Dubai Marina residents. The new venue boasts an outdoor terrace on the JBR plaza level, perfect for alfresco dining and accommodating up to 96 diners with an indoor area seating up to 122 diners. What’s more, a section of the terrace has been designated to those dining with their pets.
The family-friendly venue features Jones the Grocer’s signature artisan cheese room, a charcuterie, a bakery, a patisserie, a deli, hand-selected groceries, and a show kitchen. Here, guests can also enjoy live entertainment, and sign up for cooking classes and kids’ workshops – it’s all set within a relaxed and warm ambience. In line with the brand’s mission of serving delicious gourmet food for everyday living, foodies can tuck into freshly made pastries, bagels and sandwiches prepared with Jones the Grocer’s house-baked bread.
Diners can opt for a daily breakfast buffet from 6:30am to 11am or an à la carte menu from Monday to Friday until 12pm, and on the weekend until 4pm. Lunch and dinner specials – along with the likes of scrumptious salads, pastas, burgers, licensed beverages and more – will be served daily from 12pm to midnight. Established in 1996 in Sydney, Australia, Jones the Grocer has since expanded into the GCC and Asia, with seven new locations expected to open in the next year.
Marking 26 years of business, the JBR outlet is the brand’s 30th branch, underscoring their global expansion collaborating with passionate hospitality partners like Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach.
