Meet BohoX, a new neighbourhood hangout in Downtown Dubai

Downtown Dubai may be the city’s definitive address for glitz and glamour, but a new homegrown café by the name of BohoX is adding a touch of homeliness to the vicinity. Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the two-storey venue is designed to serve as a casual neighbourhood hangout, complete with an international menu of home-style cuisine with an urban twist.

Inside, the bright and bohemian setting instantly feels welcoming, thanks to greenery and earthy colours aplenty. There’s also an expansive outdoor terrace where you can watch the Dubai Red Trolley go by. BohoX is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so guests can indulge in an extensive à la carte menu featuring nutritious salads, tasty sandwiches, cakes and pastries — all made in-house. The menu also contains a variety of vegan dishes, healthy options, and detox juices.

All ingredients are sourced responsibly as the chef seeks out and liaises with ethical suppliers who put the planet first. Additionally, herbs and greens are grown in-house. The eatery also takes pride in its coffee culture, working only with local roasters who support ethical and sustainable practices by sourcing their beans directly from the farmers.

BohoX is a brainchild of Gastronaut, a food and beverage group specialising in F&B and hospitality who recently opened the Instagrammable TROVE inside Dubai Mall.
