The comedy scene in Dubai is set for a major night out as Emmy Award-winning comedian and writer Trevor Noah returns to the emirate for two exclusive nights of stand-up. Known for his sharp observations, global perspective and effortless storytelling, Trevor Noah will bring his latest comedy to Dubai Opera on 25 and 26 November 2026.
Presented by Live Nation Middle East, with FACT Magazine as the media partner, the two-night run will mark Noah’s return to Dubai following his last performance at Coca-Cola Arena in October 2022. This time, Trevor Noah will swap the arena setting for the more intimate surroundings of Dubai Opera, offering audiences the chance to see one of the world’s biggest comedy stars up close.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1984, Noah rose from the South African comedy circuit to become a global stand-up sensation, with acclaimed specials including The Daywalker, Crazy Normal and It’s My Culture. His latest Netflix special, Joy in the Trenches, was released in April 2026, adding to a body of work that has taken his distinctive brand of humour to audiences across five continents.
Beyond stand-up, Noah is best known for his seven-year run as host of The Daily Show, from 2015 to 2022. During his tenure, the program expanded its global digital presence while earning widespread critical recognition, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Series in 2024. He has also hosted the Grammy Awards for six consecutive years, from 2021 through 2026, serving as both host and executive producer of the 2026 ceremony.
