On your marks, get set, race. Marking its 30th running, the Dubai World Cup returns to Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 28 March 2026, reaffirming its status as one of the most prestigious fixtures on the global sporting calendar.
This year’s Dubai World Cup will attract trainers and jockeys from all over the world, bringing together world-class competition, elevated hospitality, fashion and entertainment for a day that feels distinctly Dubai.
As one of the most prestigious horse racing tournaments in the world, the Dubai World Cup was launched by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in 1996, and continues to be one of the most exciting events in the UAE’s sporting calendar and includes $12 million at stake in the title contest.

Hospitality is another major draw, with options designed to suit everything from lively group outings to exclusive client entertaining.
Among the standout experiences is the Parade Ring Lounge by Madinat Jumeirah, priced at AED 8,000 per person, where guests can enjoy premium views, afternoon tea, an international buffet and free-flowing bubbly.
Silks Restaurant by The MAINE, priced at AED 6,500 per person, pairs elegant dining with finish-line views, while Paddock View by The Meydan Hotel offers a similarly polished experience from AED 5,000 per person.

Off the track, the event’s social appeal remains a major part of its identity. One of the biggest talking points is the return of the Style Stakes, presented by Emaar, which takes place in the lively Apron Views area. The annual fashion competition invites racegoers to embrace the glamour of the day across categories including Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Couple, Best Traditional Outfit and Best Hat. With prizes ranging from Emirates Skywards Miles and luxury fashion vouchers to exclusive Emaar gift cards, including $15,000 for Best Dressed Lady, it remains one of the most eye-catching elements of the programme.
