DJ Khaled lights up Dubai Festival City Mall this Eid Al-Fitr

A special edition of the IMAGINE laser, light and water show celebrates the no. 1 album Khaled Khaled.

Dubai Festival City Mall has teamed up with Sony Music Entertainment in the Middle East to launch a new show to ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ from DJ Khaled’s number one album Khaled Khaled, as part of the mall’s two-time record-breaking visual and sensory extravaganza, IMAGINE. 

Visitors to Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall will be able to watch the show that features lasers, lights, fountains, and the largest outdoor projection, integrated with the album’s smash hit ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ featuring Nas, Jay-Z and James Fauntleroy.

The 14-track album was released on 30 April, featuring several guest stars including Drake, Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber. Khaled Khaled marks the hip-hop megastars third no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Visitors will also be able to experience the emotive IMAGINE stories of ‘A Child’s Dream’, ‘Star Dancer’, ‘Hathi’s Garden’, and ‘A Pirate’s Tale’ at 8pm daily during Eid al Fitr. Seamlessly fusing technology and art, the state-of-the-art show has earned two Guinness World Records for the largest water screen projection and the largest permanent projection mapping.

  • 8pm ‘A Child’s Dream’ (Wednesday 12 May), ‘Star Dancer’ (Thursday 13 May), ‘Hathi’s Garden’ (Friday 14 May) and ‘A Pirate’s Tale’ (Saturday 15 May).
  • 8:30pm ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ by DJ Khaled featuring Nas, Jay-Z and James Fauntleroy.
  • 9pm ‘C’est La Vie’ by Cheb Khaled
  • 11pm Final show of the night

To celebrate this one-of-a-kind DJ Khaled Dubai experience, those visiting Dubai Festival City Mall can also enjoy waterfront dining with a scenic view of the bay at 15 restaurants, offering Italian, Emirati, American, Lebanese, Indian and Turkish cuisines.

Dubai Festival City Mall has also teamed up with The Khaleeji Art Museum, the first digital museum exhibiting and promoting Arab Gulf art from talent across the region, with a new projected exhibition launching every fortnight. This long weekend visitors can look forward to an Eid special to mark the global celebration.
