Homegrown, family-friendly café, Sanderson’s have opened their third branch this week. Priding itself on feel-good, fresh food and a community feel, this new venue is located within the Al Khawaneej Walk hub. Dishes on the menu include tropical smoothie bowls, traditional shakshuka, fresh homemade soups, salads and mains such as pan-roasted sea bass with zaatar crushed baby potatoes. To launch the new branch, Sanderson’s offers all customers a free coffee with every breakfast purchased between 8am and 10am until Monday 6 September.

Tuck into the ‘Brits Menu’ at hot new burger joint SLAW, Jumeirah 1

With many Brits unable to travel home this summer, burger joint SLAW has created a limited-edition ‘Brits Menu’ to coincide with the UK August bank holiday weekend. Mr. SLAW has made his version of Fish and Chips, featuring a beautifully crisp beer-battered cod fillet, minted mushy peas, dill pickles, and tartar sauce, all cushioned between soft potato buns. The British inspired burger is accompanied by good old fashioned English chip-shop chips and a refreshing glass of virgin Pimm’s. Available Thursday 26 August to Monday 30 August. AED 85 per person.
