The immersive culinary experience launches 230 metres above Palm Jumeirah on Sunday, 26 June.
FACT’s unabashed adoration of SUSHISAMBA knows no bounds. Having enjoyed fantastic fusion cuisine at both the London and Dubai locations, the FACT team is always on the lookout for a new excuse to return to SUSHISAMBA – and now we have one! In honour of International Sushi Day, Palm Jumeirah’s highest restaurant will launch sky-high sushi masterclasses under the tutelage of SUSHISAMBA’s Culinary Director Chef Moon Kyung Soo.
Launching on Sunday, 26 June, the fully immersive EDOMAE Sushi Masterclass will take guests behind the scenes as they acquire the culinary techniques to create one of the world’s most sought-after dishes. Chef Kyung Soo Moon has prepared a special step-by-step demonstration of his flavour-packed sushi, ensuring guests enjoy an intimate experience inside SUSHISAMBA’s exclusive private dining room. Here, participants will hone their culinary skills as they slice, dice and roll a Classic Sushi Roll as well as two signature SUSHISAMBA Rolls. With just ten participants students per class, guests can expect an intimate afternoon with access to premium sushi-making equipment and freshly prepared ingredients.
Following the sushi-making session, guests are invited to indulge in a three-course sharing style lunch with the option of sake and grape pairing for an additional charge. To commemorate this unique experience high above Dubai, participants will receive a limited edition SUSHISAMBA apron that has been specially designed for the occasion.
Referencing Tokyo’s old name, ‘Edo’, the monthly EDOMAE Sushi Masterclass pays homage to Japan’s rich culinary history whilst delivering a sophisticated lesson in the traditional art of sushi-making.
With an expansive à la carte menu offering a blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines, a brilliant business lunch, and the invite-only SAMBA Room now open for late-night revelry. We now have yet another excuse to visit Palm Jumeirah’s highest restaurant.
The EDOMAE Sushi Masterclass will take place on Sunday 26 June, from 1pm to 3:30pm, and is priced at AED 689 per person.
