Scare yourself silly at Dubai’s Horror Movie Room

The new immersive experience will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Lights, camera, scares. Horror Movie Room is opening in Dubai, and aims to scare your socks right off. Movie lovers will enjoy this brand-new immersive horror movie experience, which brings together 4D technology and special effects – think splashes, flashes and a whole lot more. 

Horror Movie Room not only screens classic as well as modern horror films, but brings them to gory life with actors. So sit back – or on the edge of your seat – as actors will be roaming the room and interacting with viewers during the film. And, as the cinema only accommodates eight people, you’re in for tricks and treats.

Horror Movie Room has launched with a terrifying set list of films. Tickets are available for IT, the supernatural horror film that follows the evil clown, and Rings, which tells the story of a cursed video that kills viewers who watch it in seven days. 

Horror fans who want to continue the creeps, should book to see Insidious as the original and sequel are being screened. Insidious follows a family that move into a new home with paranormal activity, and Insidious: Chapter 2 sees the family relocate in the hopes of recovering, but the paranormal activity continues to follow them around.  

Horror Movie Room has been created by the escape room brand, Nowayout, who specialise in creating scary escape room experiences. Nowayout also cater to large groups including birthdays, proposals as well as hen and stag parties.

Horror Movie Room is located in Dubai’s Indigo Sky, and tickets start from Dhs144 per person. Be afraid, be very afraid.
