R&R Has a new address in Dubai

You can now dine, play and relax at beachside destination Ula.

It’s been six months in the making, but the day is finally here – Ula opens its doors on Palm Jumeirah, taking over what was once beloved steakhouse West 14th. The new beachside restaurant and bar is operated by Solutions Leisure Group, the folks behind the likes of STK, Wavehouse and Asia Asia. Incidentally the word ‘ula’ means sea jewel, so it comes as no surprise that it draws inspiration from the energy of the earth, the warmth of the sun and the passion of the ocean.

Situated next to Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel and developed in partnership with luxury hospitality and real estate developer Seven Tides, the new venue is set to ease seamlessly from day to night, taking guests on an experiential journey – whether you’re planning a long and lazy lunch with the family or signature cocktails and sunset views with friends. The earthy-chic venue has been designed with purpose and passion, and features two dedicated bar areas, pool and beach seating, and al fresco and indoor dining complemented by an open kitchen. With a Mediterranean-led menu that explores the freshest of produce, key dishes here include Clay Pot Slow-Roasted Lamb, Whole Lobster, Kamichiku Japanese Beef Tenderloin and Mille-Feuille.

The immersive social experience, meanwhile, is all about smooth and uplifting beats, live music and roving entertainment – all complemented by warm and inviting interiors. With a staggered unveiling, the first phase of Ula is now open – pool, beach and first bar area included – for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The second bar and restaurant areas are soon to be complete.

And in celebration of the launch, Ula is inviting guests to The Ula Experience that pairs a three-course set menu of chef favourites with two drinks per person for AED 500 per couple. Additionally, you can take advantage of the beachfront pool and golden shores of the Arabian Gulf with the Ula Pool and Beach Pass for just AED 100 (with AED 50 redeemable on F&B) during the week, and AED 200 (with AED 100 redeemable on F&B) on weekends and public holidays. Vacation mood on.
