In a city known for loud, social brunches, Cutfish has launched a new concept designed for solo diners. Inspired by Japan’s solo katsu philosophy, the experience celebrates the idea that dining alone can be just as rewarding as sharing a table. The brunch is limited to just eight counter seats, placing guests at the heart of the action with a view of the open kitchen. The menu features Sushi, Sashimi, and Hand Rolls, followed by a Mini Wagyu Burger, a choice of Wakame Spinach or Cauliflower Salad, and mains such as Chicken Katsu, Seabass Tamarin or Wagyu Fried Rice. The arrival of summer signals a seasonal shift at 99 Sushi as Chef Thinus van der Westhuizen unveils a 12-course tasting menu.
