Abu Dhabi’s Corniche will again light up with plenty of family-friendly attractions.
Winter is here, and Abu Dhabi has a packed roster to entertain people of all ages. Mother Of The Nation (MOTN) Festival is making its grand return, promising a celebration of fun, food and festivities.
Taking place until 4 January, this year marks the ninth edition of the MOTN Festival. Happening at Abu Dhabi Corniche, this year’s theme is “Out of This World” which will offer a variety of thrilling rides, cuisine and much more. Spanning along the Corniche, it will transform the capital into a playground, making it the ultimate destination to visit this season.
Attractions
MOTN will feature a ton of attractions this year. Much like the last edition, you can expect the Out of This World Museum. Within this museum, you’ll be able to explore the Time Vortex and the Celestial trail, which will both make great posts for the gram. The MOTN Theatre, with live performances, will also be on the agenda to enjoy, along with the Ferris Wheel, promising a great vantage point.
For adrenaline junkies, there’s the galaxy-themed Ninja Kidz Action Park, the 4×4 track, immersive gaming and Big Bounce Arabia. And if you’re feeling extra bold, try the Space Flight Experience, where you can float like an astronaut in an open-air wind tunnel. The Maze of Maybes and a ball pit will also be on site.
Food
Foodies rejoice because the Indulge Zone boasts an array of international food concepts. Indulge in the likes of Ugly Burger, Omar Odali, Khemeer Chebab, Tempt, Oh My Dog, Flave, Cobster, Burnt Butter, Tacos Camino, LSE-La Sauce Entrecote, Ugly Noodles, Goldfish, Not a Space, Charles Pan Fried Chicken, Cellos Pizzeria, Chris and Eddy’s, The Little Fox by Rowley’s, Hangry Joes, Freat, Mr. Beast, BTTR and Black Out.
No festival is complete without some sweet indulgence, and this time around – after last year’s success -MOTN is bringing Brooki to Abu Dhabi all the way from Australia. This concept combines a classic cookie and a brownie for a brooki that’s irresistible. Other dessert spots include Blondie’s Kitchen, Boba Bae, Boston Drink and Dessert, Glace, Roll Boys Cinnamon Rolls, Tiger Sugar, Phuketique Coffee, Honestry and Flufftopia.
Entertainment
Apart from attractions and food, MOTN will also have tons of live entertainment options within its Entertain Zone. These include Mahmoud Al Turky, Mohammed Fadel Chakar and Akhras.
