Dubai is never short on concerts. Yet, no matter how packed the line-up gets, fans are always hungry for more. This time, Afrobeats superstar Davido is making his return to Dubai.
Taking place on Saturday, 8 November, Davido will be heading to the Coca-Cola Arena stage in Dubai. He brings his 5IVE Alive Tour to the emirate, which celebrates his fifth studio album, 5IVE. If you’ve been craving a dose of Afrobeats magic, this one’s for you.
For those unversed, Davido — originally David Adedeji Adeleke — is a Nigerian singer who has been at the forefront of the Afrobeats music for over a decade. He burst onto the music scene with hits like Dami Duro, If, and Fall, and quickly cemented his status as a global music sensation. He’s also a Grammy nominee with multiple wins at the BET Awards, MTV Awards, and many more.
Known for blending Afrobeats with R&B, reggaeton, and dancehall, Davido’s sound is both rooted in African culture and universally appealing. His latest album 5IVE features collaborations with Chris Brown, Omah Lay, and Musa Keys, to name a few, and now he’s bringing that same magic to Dubai.
However, this isn’t Davido’s first gig in Dubai. He’s performed at Coca-Cola Arena previously as well as part of his Timeless Tour back in 2023, and at Blu Dubai in 2024. Now, his upcoming annual Dubai performance promises to be nothing short of electric.
