A global gathering of sporting minds is coming to Madinat Jumeirah.
Dubai’s place on the global sports stage is well established, with a home to world-class events in tennis, golf, horse racing, and mixed martial arts. Now, the city is preparing to level up once again with the announcement of the first-ever World Sports Summit, set to take place from 29 to 30 December 2025.
Announced under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and organised by the Dubai Sports Council, the summit will be held at Madinat Jumeirah and aims to gather some of the biggest names and brightest minds from across the international sporting world.
The two-day event is positioned as a think tank for the global sports industry, bringing together athletes, coaches, decision-makers, sports scientists, and leaders from international sporting bodies. The goal is to identify fresh opportunities for growth while addressing the evolving challenges facing the sector.

The agenda is set to include panel discussions, keynote speeches, interactive workshops, and high-level roundtables. Topics on the table range from fan engagement and the commercial sustainability of sports, to the impact of artificial intelligence, data-driven performance analytics, and the importance of nurturing talent through sports academies.
The World Sports Summit aims to spark ideas that will shape the future of the industry, whether through emerging technology, education, or cross-border collaboration.
