Q’s Bar and Lounge have a new artist in residence
The songstress will perform on Thursday and Friday nights at Q’s Bar and Lounge.
Quincy Jones‘ first-ever bar has proven to be one of Dubai’s most desirable venues for live entertainment. Q’s Bar and Lounge at Palazzo Versace Dubai has gained quite the reputation for showcasing world-class performances from emerging artists handpicked by the music legend himself.
The latest artist to grace the stage at Q’s Bar is pure musical talent Carrie Gibson who will perform at the popular jazz bar on Thursday and Friday evenings from 7 January. The songstress is known for her deep, expressive and dexterous voice that mesmerises and engages the audience alongside her uniquely energetic performances.
Hailing from Canada, Carrie is a natural born performer who fronted the MTV ‘Live & Loaded’ concert special, backing up Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin where she dazzled with her on stage vibrancy and singing talent. In addition to her many professional performances with Buddy Miles, Lady Day and Tina Arena, Carrie has proven a highly sought-after headliner on the International Cover Band Scene for more than 15 years with thousands of worldwide performances under her belt.
Well noted for her velvety tone, charismatic stage presence and improvisational ability, including incorporating her own freestyle MC, Carrie is adept at serenading across a spectrum of genres and styles, while putting her unique stamp on every performance.
Q’s Bar & Lounge has long been the stage for such talent, with music and opulence running through the venue’s veins. Previous residences have included Layla Kardan, Shameka Dwight, Brenna Whitaker, David Davis, NSTASIA, The Strike, Clark Beckham, Eli Teplin, Justin Kauflin and Sheléa.
