The Japanese lifestyle brand brings its Fermented Booster, Sensitive Skincare and Aging Care ranges to the region.
MUJI has expanded its beauty offering across the GCC with the launch of three skincare ranges designed around simplicity, sensitivity and everyday use. The new Fermented Booster, Sensitive Skincare and Aging Care series bring the Japanese brand’s minimalist approach to a region where heat, humidity and air conditioning can all affect the skin.
Founded in Japan in 1980, MUJI has built a global following through its “no-brand” philosophy, functional design and focus on essential living. From homeware and stationery to fashion and food, the brand has long championed products that strip away excess while keeping quality at the forefront. Its skincare line follows the same principle, offering straightforward formulas that are designed to support the skin without unnecessary fuss.

At the centre of MUJI skincare is natural water sourced from a cave in Kamaishi, Japan. Filtered over decades through layers of rock, the soft water forms the base of the collection and provides a gentle foundation for daily skincare routines.
The Fermented Booster series draws on Japan’s long-standing relationship with fermentation. Infused with rice bran ferment filtrate sourced from Yamagata Prefecture, the range is designed to be used as the first step after cleansing. Available as an essence and a pre-lotion, the formulas help soften, hydrate and prepare the skin for the products that follow.
MUJI’s pre-lotion, a wipe-off toner, is formulated with 100 per cent naturally derived ingredients. Enriched with lactic acid, it gently exfoliates to remove dirt and excess sebum from the pores, while eucalyptus leaf extract helps leave the skin feeling fresh and smooth. The formulas are fragrance-free and alcohol-free, making them suitable for sensitive skin and regional summer routines.

The Sensitive Skincare series has been created for skin that needs a gentler touch. Ceramides and five amino acids help support the skin barrier, while botanical extracts such as eucalyptus leaf, grapefruit and purslane add a calming element.
Completing the launch, the Aging Care series addresses dryness, reduced elasticity and visible signs of ageing. The range includes toning waters, moisturising milks and creams, offering a complete ritual for skin that needs extra nourishment.
MUJI’s Fermented Booster, Sensitive Skincare and Aging Care series are now available across MUJI stores in the GCC and online.
