British comedian Russell Kane returns to Dubai

Hop aboard the QE2 for an evening of comedic rants, known as Kaneings.

British comedian Russell Kane will be jetting back into Dubai for a headline show at The Theatre aboard the QE2 in June. Tickets to catch the funny man live in Dubai on Sunday, 2 June 2024, are now on sale.

The brand-new Hyperactive Tour will see Russell bring his high-energy, high-octane, and hyper-active style back to the QE2, a venue he sold out last January. “Dubai, I am coming BACK! Grab your tickets NOW!'” he said.

The comedian, actor, author, presenter, and scriptwriter consistently graces UK television screens. He has recently appeared on the shows Antiques Road Trip, Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Stupid Man, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, The One Show, and The Stand Up Sketch Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, and Stupid Man, Smart Phone.

True to his dynamic style and topical commentary, Kane’s performances are characterised by a hyperkinetic energy. Whether purposefully striding the entire stage to complete his 10,000 daily steps in an hour, scrambling on the floor, or contorting his body into dramatic poses, he electrifies the room with his infectious enthusiasm.

His BBC Radio 4 / BBC Sounds podcast, Evil Genius, soared to chart-topping success and became the best-performing original podcast on the platform, leading to its adaptation into a TV show. In 2023, he headlined festivals such as Latitude, Leeds and Reading.

Russell Kane’s accolades include a Best Show win at the 2010 Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He made history by becoming the first comedian to clinch both the Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Barry Award in the same year.

Kane is no stranger to the UAE, having performed to sold-out crowds in Dubai in 2017, 2021 and 2023.
