The fun-filled show takes place in January 2024.

Get ready to laugh out loud. British comedian Omid Djalili has announced that he is coming to Dubai. His show Namaste takes place on 7 January, and it will be held at the World Trade Center. It looks set to be a fun-filled night.

In 1995, he started his comedy career at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. His early shows include Short, Fat Kebab Shop Owner’s Son, and The Arab and The Jew. He is famous for his self-deprecating humour, which covers identity politics and observational jokes.

Omid has also had a career in films, and starred in a range of comedic roles. He has appeared in blockbusters including Gladiator, Notting Hill, Pirates of the Caribbean: At The World’s End and The Mummy. He was even in Sex and the City 2, which was filmed in Abu Dhabi. Plus, he appeared onstage and starred in Cameron Mackintosh’s Oliver! As Fagan.

Omid joins a long list of comedians who will be coming to the UAE in 2024. Michael McIntyre is coming to Coca-Cola Arena Dubai on 13 January.
