Lil Baby will make his Dubai debut this November

The It’s Only Me rapper will take to the stage at Sky 2.0 on Friday, 3 November.

Listen up hip-hop fans, because we’ve got some news for you. Acclaimed rapper Lil Baby will perform in Dubai for the first time next week.

The artist, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, is a prominent figure in the contemporary hip-hop scene. Lil Baby rose to fame with his powerful lyrics and top-tier collaborations and has become one of the most influential young artists in the rap industry.

His debut mixtape, Perfect Timing (2017), was well-received by critics and fans, but his second mixtape, Harder Than Ever (2018), catapulted him to superstardom. The tape featured hit singles like Drip Too Hard and Yes Indeed, which achieved success on the Billboard charts.

Since then, the Atlanta-based rapper has released three studio albums: Harder Than Ever (2018), My Turn (2020) and It’s Only Me (2022). The project spawned the hit tracks Go Hard and Never Sleep, along with collaborations with DJ Khaled, Drake, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott.

The Friday, 3 November performance at Sky 2.0 will mark the rapper’s Dubai debut. The striking, stand-alone venue in Dubai Design District brings Beirut’s sleepless party energy to Dubai. Innovative and experiential, the open-air nightclub provides an interactive experience through bendable screens, intricate lighting design, and a tilting sound system that wraps the walls of the sphere-shaped venue.

If you love live hip-hop, you’re in for a treat because an exciting range of artists are coming to the UAE. Dizzee Rascal will perform at Emirates Golf Club on 28 October, 50 Cent will perform at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 21 December, and Wireless Festival Middle East will take place at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Park in March 2024.
