South Korean singer PSY is coming to UNTOLD Dubai
The Gangnam Style singer is heading to Expo City Dubai.
Open your legs, bend your knees and hold the reins. Once you look like you’re riding a horse, you’re doing the dance craze, Gangnam Style. And, you’ll want to know those moves, as the hit’s singer Psy is heading to UNTOLD Dubai.
Psy hails from Seoul, South Korea. He is famous for his hit song Gangnam Style, which was released in 2012. The song celebrates the Gangnam region of Seoul, and includes a catchy refrain and dance routine. The video went viral around the world, and started a dance craze, which has been emulated across social media and in nightclubs. He even spoke about the phenomenon at the Oxford Union.
Gangnam Style topped the charts in more than 30 countries, which includes Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Today, the music video has more than five billion views.
Psy’s songs also include Daddy, Gentleman, Hangover, I Luv It, Oppa Is Just My Style, and That That. Over his career, he has also collaborated with Crush, Kim Jang-Hoon, Lee Jae-Hoon, Suga from BTS, and Snoop Dogg.
UNTOLD Dubai has been created in partnership with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Expo City Dubai. The event is being billed as the city’s first mega festival and aims to revolutionise entertainment.
Taking place from 15 to 18 February 2024 at Expo City Dubai, UNTOLD Dubai looks set to be a showstopping event with world-famous artists. The headliners include Armin Van Buuren, Bebe Rexha and Ellie Goulding. Tickets are available now – so start practising.
