T.I. will share the stage with Sean Paul at Coca-Cola Arena

The rapper makes for a surprise addition to the lineup.

In a career spanning more than two decades, rapper T.I. has collaborated with a star-studded roster that includes Eminem, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna. For his next collab, the 43-year-old will share the stage in Dubai with none other than Sean Paul.

Sean Paul’s concert at Coca-Cola Arena was officially announced last week. However, T.I. has now been revealed as a surprise addition to the lineup for the show on Saturday, 21 October.

In the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop, few artists have managed to carve a legacy as impactful as T.I. With his distinct Southern drawl and a lyrical prowess that bridges the gap between street narratives and conscious reflection, T.I. stands tall as a grand architect of Southern hip-hop.

Born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., T.I. emerged onto the music scene in the early 2000s. His debut album, I’m Serious, laid the foundation for what would become a storied career. Yet it was his sophomore effort, Trap Muzik, that catapulted him to stardom. This release not only coined the term “trap music” but also showcased the rapper’s dexterity in storytelling, painting vivid pictures of the struggles and triumphs of street life in the American South.

T.I.’s ability to seamlessly switch between conscious rap and club bangers has garnered him a loyal fan base, while tracks like Live Your Life, Swagga Like Us and Whatever You Like have earned him chart-topping success.

Beyond music, T.I. can be seen in movies such as Ant Man (2015) and Monster Hunter (2020). He actively advocates for social change, using his platform to address issues like police brutality and racial inequality.

T.I. is no stranger to the Middle East. His last performance in the region was in December 2022 at MDLBeast Sounstorm in Riyadh, where he shared the stage with DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Future and Busta Rhymes.

Tickets to see Sean Paul and T.I. in Dubai are now on sale via Platinumlist. AED 150 (bronze), AED 250 (silver), AED 300 (gold), AED 300 (standing), AED 350 (diamond) and AED 600 (golden circle).
