The indoor summer concert series brings regional music heavyweights to Dubai World Trade Centre.
The UAE”s summer calendar is turning up the volume as Beat The Heat Festival returns to Dubai for another season. Bringing big-name regional artists to an indoor setting, Beat The Heat DXB has become a go-to event for music fans looking to escape the rising temperatures without missing out on live entertainment.
Beat The Heat DXB Season 5 will kick off at Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together some of the region’s most exciting Arabic music acts. The concert series celebrates homegrown and regional talent, offering a high-energy mix of rock, pop, rap and Arabic fusion. With Cairokee, DYSTINCT and Issam Najjar among the artists associated with this year’s programme, the festival continues to champion the sounds shaping the Middle East and North Africa.
Cairokee will lead the opening night on Saturday, 11 July 2026 with the kind of anthemic performance that has made them one of the Arab world’s most influential bands. Formed in Cairo, the group rose to prominence with socially conscious lyrics, stirring rock arrangements and songs that captured the spirit of a generation. Their biggest tracks include “Sout El Horreya”, “Ya El Midan”, “Ethbat Makanak”, “Basrah w Atooh”, “Ana Negm” and “Nefsy Ahbek”. Known for singalong choruses and emotionally charged live shows, Cairokee have built a loyal following across the region and remains a defining force in contemporary Egyptian music.
DYSTINCT brings a different kind of energy to the lineup on Saturday, 18 July 2026. The Belgian-Moroccan artist, born Iliass Mansouri, has become one of the most-streamed Arabic fusion artists of his generation, blending Moroccan Arabic, French, Dutch and pop-rap into a sound that travels easily across borders. His breakout hit “Ghazali” became a global favourite, while “Tek Tek”, “La”, “Business” and “Spider” have helped cement his reputation as a chart-friendly hitmaker. His music blends raï, afrobeat, urban pop and Arabic melodies, making him a standout voice for a new generation of diaspora artists.
Issam Najjar is another name that has helped push Arabic pop onto the global stage. The Jordanian-Palestinian singer-songwriter became a viral sensation with “Hadal Ahbek”, a track that travelled far beyond the region and introduced his breezy, romantic sound to international audiences. Since then, Issam has continued to build momentum with songs such as “Waray”, “Ansaki”, “Baree?”, “Si Tú Vuelas (Hadal Ahbek)”, “Hada Ghareeb” and “Mn Gheirik Enti”. He will also perform on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
Beat The Heat Festival is designed for the Dubai summer. Rather than battling the humidity outdoors, fans can enjoy a full concert atmosphere inside Dubai World Trade Centre, complete with food and beverage options, easy transport links and a casual dress code.
