British rapper Central Cee has had an epic year. In January, he dropped his debut album “Can’t Rush Greatness,” a chart-topping set that stormed to number one in the UK and crashed the Billboard 200 top ten, powered by singles like “GBP” with 21 Savage and “Guilt Trippin.” He spent spring and summer on the an’t Rush Greatness World Tour, packing arenas from London to Sydney and lighting up huge festivals, including Coachella and Primavera Sound. MOBO wins and a year-closing single “Booga” finally sealed his status as UK rap’s global frontman. Central Cee will start 2026 in spectacular style with a one-off show at Bohemia Dubai on Friday, 30 January 2026.

Central Cee, real name Oakley Caesar-Sue, hails from Ladbroke Grove, London. He is of Chinese and Guyanese origin. When he was young, his father introduced him to American hip-hop, and the Notting Hill Carnival introduced him to dancehall and reggae. At 17 years old, he headlined his first show at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in London. In 2020, he rose to fame with the songs “Day in the Life” and “Loading.”

In 2021, his first mixtape, “Wild West,” debuted at number two in the UK Album Charts. The rapper of the moment is known for his chart-topping hits, including Doja and Sprinter, a collaboration with fellow UK rapper Dave.

Central Cee has won multiple awards throughout his career. At the MOBO Awards, he won for Best Newcomer, Best Drill Act, Best Male Act, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. He has also modelled for rapper Drake’s Nike X Nocta collection.

The rapper is no stranger to the UAE. In 2023, he performed at the Wireless Festival Middle East in Abu Dhabi, sharing the stage with American rapper Travis Scott. The event marked the debut of the London-born festival in the region.
