Taking place on Saturday, 21 February 2026, at Dubai Opera, Jimmy Carr promises a night of laughter in Dubai. The British-Irish comedian is bringing his world tour, Laughs Funny, to the UAE, which is expected to be a sold-out show.
For those unfamiliar with Jimmy Carr, he’s a popular name in the global comedy scene. He started his career in 1997 and has since appeared on several TV shows, including A Comedy Roast and 8 Out of 10 Cats, cementing his position in the entertainment world. He also has several Netflix appearances to his name, including Funny Business, His Dark Material, and Natural Born Killer.
Apart from an expansive list of television, digital streaming and movie appearances, Jimmy Carr has several accolades under his belt as well. These feature 2003’s Royal Television Society Award for Best On-Screen Newcomer, LAFTA Award for Best Stand Up and British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand Up.
Jimmy Carr’s upcoming show in Dubai isn’t the first time he’s performed in the UAE. The stand-up comic was in Dubai last year as part of the Dubai Comedy Festival at Dubai Opera.
