The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter brings four decades of singalong hits to Coca-Cola Arena on 3 October 2026.
There are numerous concerts happening in the UAE this year, but October is about to skew unapologetically nostalgic. Richard Marx is heading to Dubai for a one-night-only show at Coca-Cola Arena, marking what organisers describe as his first performance in the Middle East. Set for 3 October 2026, it’s a show that will instantly transport anyone raised on late 80s radio straight back to the era of power ballads and big feelings.
The concert takes place at Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, one of Dubai’s largest indoor venues, with a capacity of up to 17,000. Between the arena’s vast bowl, year-round air-conditioned comfort, and its colour-shifting LED facade, it’s built for major touring productions and crowd-pleasing moments.
Expect an evening that moves through Marx’s greatest hits with a focus on melody and storytelling, the hallmarks that made him a fixture on global charts. Born in Chicago, Marx began his career as a songwriter and producer before his self-titled debut album was released in 1987, kickstarting his rise to international fame.
From there, the accolades came fast. He remains the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 of the Billboard charts, a stat that neatly sums up the dominance of his run. Fan favourites include “Right Here Waiting,” “Hazard,” “Hold On to the Nights”, and “Satisfied,” songs that still land with the same earnest punch decades later.
Marx’s influence stretches beyond his own discography, too. He co-wrote Luther Vandross’ Dance with My Father, which won the Grammy for Song of the Year.
Tickets to see Richard Marx live in Dubai are on sale now, with prices starting from AED 225 and reaching AED 625. A limited Meet and Greet upgrade is also available for an additional AED 695.
