The rapper brings Más Tiempo to Soho Garden Meydan.

Skepta is closing out a landmark year with a late night in Dubai. Fresh from his first Grammy nomination for “Victory Lap” with Fred Again, the UK grime icon is heading to Soho Garden Meydan on Saturday, 6 December for his first-ever solo DJ set in the city, bringing his house-focused Más Tiempo sound to one of Dubai’s biggest nightlife stages.

Skepta was born in Tottenham, North London, and has risen from the underground grime music scene to become a household name. A founding member of influential grime collective Boy Better Know, Skepta has spent more than two decades elevating UK rap from pirate radio to festival mainstage status. The group played a pivotal role in popularising the grime genre, before Skepta went solo and released the projects Greatest Hits, Microphone Champion, and Konnichiwa, showcasing his quick lyricism while addressing social issues affecting inner-London youth.

In 2025, he underlined that legacy once again, stepping in for a surprise Glastonbury performance that drew rave reviews, then switching lanes with “Victory Lap,” a bass-heavy collaboration that has taken him all the way to the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Skepta’s influence extends beyond the booth. In London, his Mains label has become a fashion week fixture, with recent shows praised for capturing the energy of a London club night in runway form and cementing Skepta’s reputation as a fully fledged designer as well as an MC. Más Tiempo, the house imprint he co-founded with longtime collaborator Jammer, channels that same spirit of reinvention, trading grime tempos for rolling house, garage and percussive club grooves. He has collaborated with high-profile artists, from Drake to Wizkid, and even shared the stage with Kanye West at the 2015 BRIT Awards.

Dubai’s date sits firmly in that new chapter. Soho Garden Meydan, the sprawling nightlife playground next to The Meydan Hotel, is known for pulling in global names from the electronic scene. On 6 December, Skepta will headline the main room with a Más Tiempo DJ set, joined by label regulars Djammin and Shae Reid for a night of raucous revelry.

Expect a crowd that knows the words to “Shutdown” and “Bullet From A Gun,” but is just as ready to lock into deep house rollers, UKG cuts and late-night edits from across the Más Tiempo catalogue.

Tickets start from AED 150, with doors opening from 10pm.
