If your friends all drive Porsches and you must make amends, then head to the Mercedes-Benz afternoon tea. Located at AMG Kaffeehaus Café in Dubai Design District, it draws inspiration from the car manufacturer and combines cars with cuisine.
Thanks to the Mercedes-Benz afternoon tea, you can enjoy teas with a view. Take your pick from indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue includes floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in lots of light. Visitors can choose from soft seats lining the wall to circular and square tables. Head to the counter and choose more pretty pastries and macarons. The latest Mercedes-Benz cars are on display, too, so you can sip while you shop.
At the Mercedes-Benz afternoon tea, guests can enjoy sweet and savoury snacks. The tea is served on a traditional stand, which spans three tiers. We spotted sweet treats at the top, from chocolates to macarons; croissants in the middle with different flavours; and sandwiches on the bottom, including avocado on toast.
AMG Kaffeehaus Café was the first Mercedes-Benz café in the region. Throughout the year, it hosts a range of events. In the past, it included comedy shows, Formula One screenings and photography exhibitions.
Mercedes-Benz was established in 1926. The headquarters are located in Stuttgart, Germany. Over the years, the logo has changed from an oval nameplate to a circular wreath, and finally, the famous three-pointed star. Plus, the slogan is “The Best of Nothing”.
AMG Kaufeehaus Café is open daily from 8am to 10pm.
