Award-winning Nightjar is opening a café in City Walk

The hip hangout will serve creative coffees and non-alcoholic cocktails.

Nightjar has coffee so good, it’s worth travelling halfway across town. Now, you don’t just have to head to Alserkal Avenue for the coffee, as it is opening a new café in City Walk. Here’s what you need to know about Nightjar City Walk.

The trendy new cafe is located near the Talabat headquarters and La Ville Hotel. The new venue boasts a younger, funkier vibe, thanks to the retro colours and bar-like atmosphere. We’re talking dark walls, high tables and stools. Plus, there are communal tables, which are a nod to Eastern Europe beer halls.

Nightjar City Walk

Nightjar City Walk aims to create a contemporary café dining experience. The menu covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and dishes cooked over charcoal. The drinks will include coffee blends, origins and cold brew nitro infusions, plus non-alcoholic cocktails. You won’t just be buzzing from the coffee, as DJs will be playing from Friday to Sunday.

We’re big fans of Nightjar at FACT. The café is a homegrown brand, which was created by Dubai-born Leon Surynt. The original venue opened in Alserkal Avenue in 2017. Authenticity is at the heart of the concept, which gained critical and commercial success.

Nightjar City Walk

If the original menu is anything to by, we’re expecting Nightjar City Walk to also boast coffee roasting and craft beverages on tap. Plus, brilliant breakfast dishes such as Breakfast Muffin, Crème Brulee Pancakes, Ricotta Pancake Stack and a Veggie Muffin.

Nightjar has not yet confirmed an opening date for the new City Walk location. Check-in with FACT for the latest information.
