Birds in Dubai: The dinner and a show announces its opening date

The creative concept launches in Address Downtown.

BIRDS is ready to take flight. FACT previously reported on Dubai’s new dinner and a show experience, and we now have more details. Located in Address Downtown, BIRDS aims to offer a one-of-a-kind experience. The new show will premiere on 16 February, and here’s what you need to know.

Birds can already be found in Bodrum and Moscow, and is now making its debut in Dubai. The Moscow location is in one of the city’s tallest buildings, and the Bodrum location has stunning sea views. Now, BIRDS in Dubai has found a home on the 63rd floor of Address Downtown, and boasts a beautiful backdrop of the Burj Khalifa.

The Moscow venue includes an international team of artists and performers who can sing and dance. In Dubai, the opening show will be Sky Lake and, as the name suggests, it showcases beautiful ballet. Dedicated to the art of dance, it blends together movements from ballet and avant garde choreography.

Chef Alexander Raylyan, who has worked on BIRDS’ previous projects, will bring his magic to Dubai. Chef Dmitry Lim will be working under his wing, and the menu will blend together influences of Asia and Europe. The signature dishes range from King Crab with Soba Matcha Noodles, to Japanese Wagyu Tataki with White Asparagus.

Bar Chef, Petr Sorokovov, explains: “We want to astonish our guests not just with flavour, but with the story of each drink. La Boutique du Parfumeur is our masterpiece that we’re excited for our guests to enjoy; a cocktail experience where guests curate their own drink by selecting from a variety of bases, distillates, and perfumes, each presented in a couture box with a total of 36 distinctive variations.”
