Cannes creation Bâoli will open in J1 Beach at La Mer

The celebrity hangout will include a restaurant, secret speakeasy and VIP bar.

Dubai, a beautiful beachfront restaurant is coming from Cannes to the city. Bâoli Dubai is scheduled to open in J1 Beach at La Mer in September. Sunset Hospitality Group has partnered with Downtown Ventures, and the venue will showcase French and Mediterranean flavours.

Bâoli was born in Cannes and later expanded to Miami. The brand has combined the vibes of Southeast Asia and the South of France and created a celebrity hangout. The Cannes venue is frequented by famous faces, especially during the Cannes Film Festival. A-list guests have included Eva Mendes, Jay-Z, Naomi Watts, and Sienna Miller. 

Executive Chef Omar Basiony will be behind the menu, which will combine French and Mediterranean flavours with East Asian techniques. At the heart of the menu are sharing dishes, which showcase artisan craftsmanship and premium ingredients. Plus, there is a menu with light bites and signature cocktails.

Bâoli Dubai will transform from a serene shoreside spot during the day to a nightlife hotspot during the night. Guests can enjoy live entertainment from resident and guest DJs. The venue will boast multiple bars, including a VIP bar, VIP lounge, and terrace overlooking the waves. Plus, there will be a secret speakeasy playing a mix of afro house, house, indie, and retro music.
