Homegrown restaurant Somewhere expands to AlUla and Dubai

The new restaurant is located in Oasis Farm and Galleria Mall.

The Arabic meets Mediterranean restaurant Somewhere is expanding across the Middle East. The restaurant has opened new branches in AlUla in Saudi Arabia and Dubai’s Galleria Mall. So, if you want to dig into hummus and fatteh, here’s what you need to know.

Somewhere prides itself on its authentic flavours, and its Arabic dishes as well as décor. The concept is inspired by intrepid travellers, and a sense of adventure. The tagline for the venue is “Let me take you somewhere”, and the restaurant aims to be that friend who takes you to a new place.

Somewhere’s menu pays homage to flavours from around the world. Every dish aims to tell a tale, and the menu includes Beetroot Rice, Kale Tabouli Salad and Wagyu Baos. Plus, sweet treats from baklava to layered cakes.

Somewhere can already be found across the Middle East. The restaurant opened in Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall in the summer of 2023. Plus, it can be found in Bujairi Terrace in Riyadh and Dubai Mall in Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum gave the brand the royal seal of approval and was even spotted dining at the Dubai Mall branch.

In AlUla, Somewhere is located in the Oasis Farm. The venue is open from Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm, and Sunday to Wednesday from 1pm to midnight. In Dubai, Somewhere’s new branch is located in Galleria Mall. The venue is open from Monday to Thursday from noon to 11pm, and Friday to Sunday from noon to midnight.
