La Brasseria Bistro opens in Sharjah’s mountainous Hanging Gardens 

The Mediterranean restaurant boasts mountainside views. 

Sharjah is home to many attractions, from museums to mosques. Now, there’s another reason to visit, thanks to the opening of a new mountainside restaurant. La Brasseria Bistro has opened at the Hanging Gardens, and here’s what you need to know. 

La Brasseria Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant, which boasts indoor and outdoor seating. The venue makes the most of the extraordinary views. The floor to ceiling windows lookout on the Hanging Gardens, which includes Insta-worthy waterfalls. 

La Brasseria Bistro exudes a Mediterranean vibe. The décor ranges from patterned floor tiles to pretty potted plants. Long tables for six line the windows, and come with plush pink chairs. The lounge area also includes seats by the window. Plus, the bright blue bar brings adds some extra colour. 

The Hanging Gardens spans 1.6 million square feet, and is home to more than 100,000 trees. The area includes a recreational ground for children, and a family-friend hiking trail. The trail showcases the agriculture, from the flowers to the trees. Plus, there is a 760-metre long running track. 

Sharjah has welcomed a range of new restaurants. Goya is located behind Sharjah Library, and is a cool café hidden behind a curtain. The menu spans hot and cold drinks, and the signature drinks include an Affogato, Cacao Cuddle, Hibiscus Fizz and Matcha Frost. Lebanese restaurant Habib Beirut is located in a stunning setting. Situated inside a cave-like structure, the floor to ceiling windows frame the view perfectly and look out onto Khorfakkan Waterfall.
