Spanning more than 110,000 square feet, it will include exciting restaurants.
Dubai is home to a range of megaprojects, from manmade islands to world record-breaking buildings. Now, it is set to welcome The Anchor at Dubai Harbour. Spanning more than 110,000 square feet, the development will include restaurants over four floors, and enclosed terraces for year-round dining.
Shamal, the Dubai-born company, has started construction on The Anchor. The development will include a rooftop with a cantilevered pool, and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.
The Anchor will also offer direct access to the sea. Dubai Harbour’s marina has the capacity of over 700 berths, and guests will have the option to arrive by boat. Plus, the marinas feature a yacht club, and can accommodate a diverse range of vessels including superyachts.
Abdulla Binhabtoor, Chief Executive Officer at Shamal, explained: “We believe in curating experiences that connect people with Dubai’s unique seafront lifestyle, and The Anchor is a perfect example of that. It will serve as a destination for both residents and visitors to enjoy world-class dining, leisure, and waterfront experiences. Positioned close to the recently launched Dubai Harbour Residences and the destination’s world-class leisure attractions, The Anchor will bring something remarkable to this extraordinary district.”
Dubai Harbour describes itself as a world-class cruise terminal, which spans 120,000 square metres and can accommodate a range of cruise ships. The restaurants include Aloe Dubai, L’Amo Bistro and Bar Du Port. Plus, and there are pop-up shops and stalls.
