Indulge in Mediterrasian cuisine at this new spot in Business Bay.
Dubai has been a hotspot for some of London’s most celebrated restaurants. From the Michelin-starred Jamavar to the trendy La Petite Maison and Zuma, the list of desirable dining destinations continues to grow. Now, another iconic London-born eatery is making its way to Dubai. Get ready to welcome The Banc.
Located within the Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, The Banc brings high energy, bold flavours and world-class hospitality to the shores of Dubai Water Canal, resulting in a memorable meal.

The interiors are a modern homage to the brand’s banking roots. A striking circular vault door anchors the bar, flanked by Fornasetti artwork depicting masked female robbers. The design narrative continues through custom wallpaper, statement lighting, and lush greenery, all tied together with warm tones and circular motifs. Outside, the terrace and shisha lounge offer a relaxed atmosphere, with DJ sets enhancing the ambience after dark.
The menu at The Banc Dubai fuses Mediterranean and Asian flavours in inventive, shareable plates. The Bluefin Tuna Tataki is artfully plated with coriander emulsion and crispy leek, while the Lamb Kebab is served with red onion salad and a smoky pepper aioli. Mains are just as indulgent, with Slow Cooked Wagyu Short Rib and Alaskan Crab Leg drenched in a herb butter sauce. For the ultimate showstopper, the 1.2kg Wagyu Tomahawk delivers drama and is served with chimichurri, asparagus, green beans, and golden fries.

Desserts are just as playful. The Truffle is a standout, where white truffle ice cream meets almond crumble in a curious but delicious combination, while the Pavlova balances brightness and creaminess with yuzu-lemon curd, matcha mascarpone, and candied lemon.
Beyond the food, the restaurant also offers an exclusive shisha and cigar lounge, providing a laid-back retreat for those looking to unwind. Signature cocktails include the Postman Negroni, made with balsamic vinegar; Ikigai by The Barrel, featuring Monkey Shoulder and banana cordial; and the Sakemai, a savoury Saketini spiked with smoked chestnut honey and Parmesan.

Since first opening its doors in 2011 in a former Barclays Bank building, The Banc has become a mainstay in North London’s restaurant scene. As it expands to Dubai, The Banc is building on its London legacy, elevating the original’s signature style with polished interiors and a bold MediterrAsian menu. Within just weeks of opening, the venue has welcomed heavyweight names like Anthony Joshua and American rapper Quavo.
So, if you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an extraordinary dining experience, The Banc Dubai offers a vault-themed space hiding several surprises.
