Trèsind Studio announces its latest culinary collab

The only Indian Michelin-Starred restaurant in UAE is back with another exciting collab.

Considering team FACT hailed Trèsind Studio as ‘Restaurant of the Year’ at the FACT Dining Awards Dubai 2021, it’s evident that we’re big fans of Chef Himanshu Saini’s culinary prowess. Now, the young tastemaker is gearing up to join forces with Chef Hussain Shahzad for an exciting dining event on 28 and 29 April. But who is Shahzad? And what makes this series of intimate collaborative dinners worth the wait?

Chef Hussain Shahzad is a dynamic force in the kitchens at The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro. After graduating from the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, he honed his skills as a Senior Kitchen Executive at Frangipani, Mumbai, and furthered his culinary journey with a stint at Eleven Madison Park in New York.

Despite his international experiences, Hussain’s heart always longed for India’s evolving food scene. In 2015, he returned to India and joined The Bombay Canteen as Sous Chef, eventually becoming the Executive Chef of O Pedro two years later.

Hussain’s food philosophy is rooted in simplicity, showcasing local produce with contemporary culinary techniques. He is committed to continuous creativity and innovation, making food the hero of the restaurant experience.

Trèsind Studio is famed for its modern Indian dishes, which are a thing of beauty. Chef Himanshu Saini is behind the contemporary, fine-dining Indian menu. The everyday tasting menu includes a generous sixteen courses, which is just as fancy for vegetarians as it is for meat-eaters.

Trèsind Studio is one of Dubai’s most critically acclaimed restaurants, as it was awarded one MICHELIN Star and was recently ranked number two in the MENA region on the 50 Best Restaurants list in 2023.

Previous collaborations at Trèsind Studio have been with Mexican chef Jorge Vallejo, Indian chef Prateek Sadhu, Belgian chef Christophe Hardiquest and Germans chefs Mathias and Thomas Suhrinf.

Trèsind Studio’s collaboration takes place on 28 and 29 April, with sittings taking place at 6pm and 9pm. The dinner costs AED 995 per person.

We’re expecting this to a be a hot dinner, so book early.
