It’s not just soul food made with seasonal ingredients that have earned 21grams a FACT Dining Award three years in a row — the emphasis on community also wins rave reviews. Now, the highly acclaimed Balkan bistro is practising what it preaches with a special summer initiative that invites the community to share their input on next season’s menu by tasting and rating new items.

In a bid to celebrate its community’s incredible support, the homegrown bistro is welcoming everyone to indulge in its exciting weekly specials, provide feedback, and participate in an initiative that will culminate in a winning dish being featured on the upcoming season’s menu as the ‘Community Special’.

“We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and enthusiasm from our wonderful community,” says Stasha Toncev, Chief Soulkitchen Officer at 21grams. “This summer, we wanted to express our gratitude by inviting everyone to be a part of the culinary journey at 21grams. It’s an exciting opportunity for our patrons to taste our latest creations, share their feedback, and have a say in shaping our upcoming menu.”

Each week 21grams will unveil a unique and enticing special dish that honours Balkan traditions and showcases the creativity of the talented culinary team led by Head Chef Milan Jurkovic. Guests are encouraged to try the weekly specials and provide their ratings and feedback through review cards available in the restaurant or by direct communication with the restaurant’s team. As summer draws to a close, 21grams will review the feedback and ratings received throughout the initiative.

The dish that resonates most with the community, capturing their hearts and tantalising their taste buds, will earn the honour of being featured as the ‘Community Special’ on the new season’s menu.
