The UAE’s first integrated gaming resort has confirmed the first details of its culinary line-up.
Ras Al Khaimah’s most anticipated opening is taking shape. Wynn Al Marjan Island, the region’s first integrated gaming resort now under construction, has revealed one of its headline restaurants: a new steakhouse concept from acclaimed chef Alain Ducasse. Spanning two floors and approximately 1,820 square metres, the venue has been envisioned by Wynn Design and Development, led by President and Chief Creative Officer Todd-Avery Lenahan, as a showcase for theatrical dining and refined detail.
“Every element of Wynn Al Marjan Island has been conceptualised by Wynn Design & Development to surprise guests and surpass their expectations, to create a singular resort they’ve simply never experienced before,” Lenahan said. “That extends, of course, to the restaurant spaces we are designing for the esteemed chefs who are joining us. Whether it’s the ultimate in opulence or refinement, or perhaps imbued with a splash of whimsy, our desire is to entertain the guest’s eye with unique, unforgettable details while they’re savouring an unforgettable meal.”

The Alain Ducasse steakhouse will blend French technique with American steakhouse tradition. Guests can expect a decadent opening act, from Duck Foie Gras Brioche to a cloud-light Cheese Soufflé. The centrepiece “Beef Club” invites diners to choose from a selection of the world’s finest steaks, then pair their cut with sauces and sides that balance richness and precision. Tableside theatre is an integral part of the experience, with carving performed in the room and nostalgic desserts, such as Baked Alaska, flambéed before your eyes.
“I’m very proud and honoured to contribute to the Wynn Al Marjan Island project, which is for sure one of the most visionary and ambitious projects in the region,” Ducasse said. “The culinary experience we’ll create will radically reinvent the steakhouse concept by boldly reinterpreting the American classics with a contemporary French flair.”
As part of a broader collection of 22 restaurants and lounges planned for the resort, the Alain Ducasse steakhouse signals Wynn’s intent to deliver destination dining on the island. The design narrative promises richness and restraint in equal measure, with materials, lighting, and art chosen to elevate the room without overshadowing the plate. When Wynn Al Marjan Island opens in Spring 2027, this will be one of the restaurant reservations to secure.
