Located in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour and running throughout the summer, the venue is a winter-themed retreat that aims to bring a touch of Davos to Dubai. BRIX Café recently opened a pop-up in Davos, bringing the flavours of the UAE café to the streets of Switzerland. Now, it’s come full circle and is bringing Alpine vibes to the heart of the UAE. The venue is easy to spot, decked out in a snow-themed design, with its green exterior covered in white snowflakes.
BRIX Café has shared photos and videos on its Instagram, showcasing the wintery style of the venue. The clips include scenes of Switzerland’s ski slopes. On the roof, there’s fake snow, disco balls covered in snowflakes, and chairs adorned with cushions featuring images of skiers.
BRIX Café is embracing the heat with a menu that’s all about cool contrasts and clever indulgence. Think coconut nitro snow cascading over a strawberry and lychee core, a Chocolate On The Rocks that channels the vibe of a Caribbean cocktail, and truffle mousse so light it could pass for an Alpine fog.
The drinks are equally engineered for the heat. There’s the Rimal, a cold brew made with Liwa dates and desert spices, and The Ghaf, a bottled hibiscus and grapefruit spritz that nods to the UAE’s national tree. Even the “iced hot chocolate” is a clever, tongue-in-cheek take on après-ski tradition.
For those after a little more theatre, the Experiences Menu is where things really take shape. These curated sets feature a house-made drink, a savoury bite, and one of Chef Carmen’s signature plated desserts.
