The pop-up is running at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek.

FACT Dining Award Dubai winner Kooya Filipino Eatery has already made its mark on the city. Now, it is opening a pop-up at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek. Running until the end of July, from noon to midnight, it’s a chance to sample the flavours of the Philippines at the China Club restaurant.

Kooya Filipino Eatery will offer contemporary Filipino cuisine, with a special menu created by Chef JP Anglo. Born and raised in Bacolod City, Philippines, he draws inspiration from the country’s rich culinary heritage. He is the mastermind behind Kooya Filipino Eatery, which opened in Dubai in 2022. He is also the driving force behind Sarsa in the Philippines, which serves soulful Filipino flavours.

Chef JP Anglo explained: “Filipino cuisine deserves a place on the global table. It’s a cuisine shaped by many influences – familiar yet distinct – and it’s time the world discovered just how extraordinary our food really is. We all learn from each other. It’s about pushing boundaries, sharing ideas, and growing together.

“The energy in Old Dubai is unlike anywhere else in the city. It’s a place steeped in stories, and to be able to bring our food to life in such a historic setting is incredibly special. We’re not just serving food – we’re creating memories and conversations around the table.”

The Kooya Filipino Eatery pop-up menu draws on comforting, nostalgic flavours from the Filipino community. Diners can expect crowd-pleasing favourites alongside lesser-known regional dishes, each one telling a story of heritage, innovation, and passion.

If you want to extend your dinner into an overnight stay, take advantage of the Summer Deal. Guests can enjoy rooms starting from just AED 200 for a room only, AED 250 for single occupancy with breakfast, and AED 300 for double occupancy with breakfast.
