The one-night-only dinner brings together HANU, City Social and Kraken for a four-course collaboration.
Modern Korean restaurant HANU is bringing three of Dubai’s most exciting culinary voices together for Table 222, a one-night-only dining experience built around craft, collaboration and shared creativity. Taking place on Monday, 18 May 2026, the intimate dinner will see Chef Kyung Soo Moon welcome Chef Dan Birk of City Social and Chef Robin Höfer of Kraken for a four-course menu priced at AED 222 per person.
Set within HANU at St. Regis Gardens, the evening has been designed as a culinary conversation between three acclaimed restaurants with distinct identities. HANU, a homegrown concept by Sunset Hospitality Group, is known for its contemporary Korean cuisine, signature Korean grill and premium meat-led dining experience. Conceptualised by Seoul-born Chef Kyung Soo Moon, the menu celebrates Korean heritage through a modern lens, with premium meats at its core, including Hoengseong Hanwoo beef.

Chef Moon’s approach has helped HANU become one of Dubai’s most talked-about Korean restaurants. For Table 222, Chef Moon will be joined by Chef Dan Birk, Executive Chef at City Social. Birk brings more than two decades of experience, including 17 years in MICHELIN-starred kitchens. He has worked closely with Jason Atherton for more than a decade and oversees a Dubai portfolio that includes City Social and the FACT award-winning Row on 45, further cementing its reputation for modern European dining.
Completing the line-up is Chef Robin Höfer, Executive Chef at Kraken. The seafood-led restaurant was founded by Grégoire Berger and champions local produce, Emirati fishing heritage and a sea-to-table philosophy.

The evening at HANU Dubai begins with Chef Höfer’s Cobia Sashimi, layered with coconut, sea buckthorn and leche de tigre. Chef Birk follows with Koji-cured Scallop, miso, scallop roe XO and a tantanmen-inspired sauce. HANU then brings its signature ingredients to the centre of the table: Hoengseong Hanwoo 1++ beef, lamb chop galbi, banchan, and beef jus. Dessert closes the experience with Caramelised Apple, meringue, bergamot sorbet and petit fours created in collaboration between HANU and Kraken.
HANU is also set to expand to Singapore later this year, with a new restaurant opening at METT Singapore.
