Strengthening this connection, Singapore-based Chef Priya Joseph has officially launched ROOH by Priya in Dubai, bringing her distinctive culinary vision and contemporary approach to Indian cuisine to the UAE.
Located at Jewel of the Creek, ROOH by Priya offers a unique dining experience overlooking the Dubai Creek. The restaurant combines modern Indian flavours with international influences, creating a menu that celebrates heritage while embracing creativity. Designed with warm textures, waterfront views, and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces, the venue effortlessly transitions from relaxed daytime lunches to lively evening gatherings.
Before expanding to Dubai, Chef Priya built her reputation in Singapore as Chef de Cuisine at Yarana, a restaurant recognised for its playful and inventive interpretation of Indian cuisine. Her approach blends familiar flavours with unexpected combinations, drawing inspiration from friendship, nostalgia, and the shared joy of dining.
This philosophy continues at ROOH, which translates to “soul.” The restaurant embodies a deep respect for ingredients, culture, and storytelling, reimagining traditional Indian dishes while preserving their essence.
